Description of each position, their main responsibilities, job description, and the number of current employees
Shareholders: this group consists of the persons who own shares in the organization. This group of people may include the ordinary citizens, workers of the company, and other people who own shares in the company. These persons can also be referred to as the investors or persons who have invested their monies in the company with the aim of getting profits in the event the company makes profit. These persons also share in the losses of the company in the event the company experiences loss in the cause of running its business.
Board of directors: The boards of directors consist of the persons who make any decision on behalf of the company. They may consist of the founder members of the company or persons of influence with good public reputation selected to be members of the board. One example of duties performed by the board may include appointing the company’s CEO.
Director or CEO: This is the most powerful individual of the company. He is the head of the organization changed with the duty of oversees the smooth running of all the company’s operations. The CEO also has the power to appoint managers and other officers of the company. However, he or she can only do this in accordance with the advice of the human resource personnel. These appointments are made according to ones merit and level or ability of performance.
Manager: This is the second commanding officer or personnel in the company. He is charged with the duty of coordinating all the company’s operations. This officer reports directly to the CEO of the company.
Human resource personnel: This group of personnel is charged with a number of duties as discussed in this section of the proposal. They Coordinate the hiring of new company staff and deal with salary processing of all the company’s staff. The company has its own human resource personnel, which makes things easy since it does not have to go through the hustle of outsourcing human resources. Since the human resource personnel are also part of the company, it is easy for them to give recommendations on areas, which requires improvements since they understand all the activities taking place within the organization.
Executive members/ Gym trainers: these persons make the back bone of the company since they are the driving force behind the company success. They are involved in the fitness program where they train or direct the company clients on the best mode of exercise to take in order to realize effective result. In every organization, the executive members or the sales representatives are the force behind the success of the company. If the executive members are dedicated and does a good a good job, the organization or company is likely to prosper and vice versa. This implies that all organizations ought to give their executive staff a good working condition in order to realize good results. Since this is a gym, it does not deal in products but rather in the provision of certain services. The services provided by the company include aerobics, and other fitness products. Aerobics is a fitness program aimed at reducing extra weight. In this program, the clients are trained or directed by qualified personnel in weight loss program. This trainer takes the trainees or clients through the training where the clients strictly follow his or her directions in order to achieve the required results. This is a subscription service where the clients pay a certain amount of money, which will cater for the services offered by the company for a certain period as stipulated or advised by the training expert.
In other programs, the client only pay a subscription fee in order to use the gym for a certain period. In this program, it is not compulsory for the gym trainers to aid the clients. In most cases, the clients just want to keep fit hence subscribing to use the gym equipments for a certain period, this dictates their period of subscription. The time covered by such clients may be in weeks or months depending on their decisions.
Description of the company’s management leadership style
The organization uses the excellence model system of leadership in the running of all its business activities. This leadership style or model works best since it is result oriented and is suitable for Services Company. Since my business is a service company dealing in fitness program, the administration system of the company found it necessary to use this system of leadership styles. The leadership style is as discussed in this section of the business research proposal.
Sara’s Corporation as an organization may employ the Excellence Model as a strategy to manage and develop improvement particularly under the control of organizations that apply the method rather than the famous external evaluator. The Model derives its basis on the premises such as society, results, and people results as being the foundation towards realization of the leadership driving strategy and policy. The excellence model comprises nine ideas that facilitate activities of the organization. Apparently, the nine ideas belong to two distinctive categories namely the Enablers and Results. The Enablers are mainly concerned with the Sara’s Corporation as an organization conducts itself, the way it manages its staff, and resources. The Enabler criteria also focus how the organization plans its strategy as well as technique or techniques the organization employs in the reviews and monitoring of key processes. The Enabler criteria include leadership, the people, policy and strategy, partnerships and resources, and the processes. Results on the other hand depict the significant achievements of the organization. Results encompass the level of satisfaction among employees of Sara’s Corporation as an organization as well as prospective clients. This probable new organizational structure is likely to take place in case of the expansion of the gym to host many clients at a time. The new structure will also ensure that additional personnel are hired to take care of the expected increase in the number of clients using the gym premises. On the leadership structure, there will be addition of extra leadership position to ensure that the gym is run smoothly without any difficulty or setbacks, which may occur due to limited employees.
