“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

This is a quote from the declaration of independence, and it is one of the most common and well-known quotes. In the initial parts of the order of freedom at that time, in 1776, there were 13 states and the rest were added through American expansionism, which was dumped American progress. This declaration of independence quote states that the primary reason for the separation of the 13 colonies from its colonizers, who were the British was the desire to pursue life, liberty and happiness liberally and guided by the word of God as the primary and fundamental law of humanity. Therefore as the declaration of independence states that when people get to the point of the will to separate themselves from a particular force that brought them together, they must state categorically in a decent manner their reasons and therefore the above quote clearly states the reasons for the need of independence of the thirteen states from the leadership and control of Britain.

The other quote is taken from the articles of confederation and states that “Under these articles (articles of confederation), the states remained sovereign and independent, with Congress serving as the last resort on appeal of disputes.” This shows the progress made by the independent united states. The articles of confederation were one of the significant documents that have never changed and always continue ruling the united states even though with some changes. This is the constitution of the United States of America ( Editors). Therefore the articles of confederation stress the importance of freedom, and it was a document to help the Americans win the war over Britain and thus support the initial quote from the declaration of independence.
