Apple and Amazon offered me a software engineer job. I choose to work in Apple Corporation for various reasons. The culture of the company matches what I like and fits my personality the most. Apple offers flexibility and travel opportunities, which I like. Amazon is a solid company but their culture doesn’t fit with mine because it’s very corporate and doesn’t prioritize flexibility or cultural fit over financials. The best reason to choose a certain organization over another is the company culture that matches your personality, as well as how much they will pay you for your work. For me, Apple was the better choice because of the type of work I do and their cultural values that match my personality more closely than Amazon’s. This article gives advice on what to look for in an organization when choosing them for employment.
Apple Corporation offers special employee pricing on Apple products, as well as benefits such as company-paid healthcare, flexible work hours, and stock options. With Apple Corporation supplying employees with such conveniences, it’s no surprise that the company is able to retain such a high level of performance. Thus, it will be more beneficial to work in this corporation since it tends to have a better job security.
They also have an incredible corporate culture and a learning program, which has been highlighted by Forbes that helps you develop the skills needed to succeed in the workforce. For example, they encourage cooperation with their employees so that the company can maintain high productivity levels. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to make a change in their career path because of changes like marriage or personal interests (Henry, 32). Thus this company will enable me to achieve a good living standards for me and my family.
Apple offers a great work-life balance for its employees. It offers free on-site child care, and offers employees up to four years of tuition reimbursement for primary and secondary education. They also offer generous maternity and paternity leaves, reasonable respect for religious belief in the organization and reasonable dress-code for the office. The corporate culture is collegial and it’s OK to be passionate about a product. The corporation values flat organization, and therefore there is no hierarchy of job listing. It also discourages group decision making, which rather limits its development into a better company.
Apple Corporation is also known for its enhanced fight against any type o discrimination and bias. It incorporates diversity and inclusion in the company it targets towards the betterment and wellbeing of the people of the world. It invests a lot in the various recipients of the labor in every part of the globe. Apple Corporation recruits people of different backgrounds, countries and cultures. It ensures that a diverse workforce is employed. The corporation does not have any issue with religion or race and understands that people should have equal opportunity. Still, there is some kind of strict policy in place to ensure that jobs are not only assigned to the employees based on the race, religion or other factors. Apple has shown that they want to create a more inclusive environment while working. It makes sure that they recruit more than one employer in every city.
In Conclusion, it will be better to work in Apple since it has better working conditions for its employees; and it is improving the quality of its manufactured products. There are many positive aspects in working for. If a person wants to be a writer, then the best thing for him is to be a writer for Apple. A person will prosper if he works for Apple. It is vital for an individual to consider a variety of factors to determine if they are fit for the job.
