In this Conference, you may wish to post draft papers, general ideas about your topic, request information about the topic you will be writing about in your Final Project, or discuss other matters, such as your research strategy, research plan, the problem/solution pair that you will be presenting in your Final Project. Be sure to ask for responses in a clear and focused manner so you can get the information or feedback that you want. I will be doing my paper on school lunches. I have worked on the ASB during high school and we routinely through BBQ’s for the school to raise money. Our lunches were much better than the school provided ones, which was usually Taco Bell or Pizza. We did a much better job than the school at providing lunch at a low price; however we were limited on the amount of times we could do it. I will write my proposal based off either increasing the budget for the ASB because we don’t have enough money to throw school events. The purpose of the proposal will be to argue that the ASB needs more funding or more abilities to make funds to throw school events.
I have been through this school system so I will write the proposal to the school principal as he is the one with the most power in making the changes.
I will be doing research such as gathering prices on the school lunch system currently in place, and the lunch the ASB provides for students. It will be much more a proposal that the ASB providing lunch to students allows them to make money for events while also providing an alternative to the drab pizza and or taco bell each day.
